FFL Transfer (Firearms)

Firearms ship only to a licensed FFL dealer — never directly to a residence. The transfer process is:

1. Choose a local FFL dealer and have them email a copy of their license to ryan@3bandedarms.com, or contact us and we’ll help coordinate.
2. We ship the firearm to your chosen dealer once a valid FFL is on file.
3. Complete ATF Form 4473 and pass a background check in person at the dealer.
4. Take possession after the dealer’s approval. The dealer may charge a transfer fee.

Age Requirements

• 21+ to purchase handguns and handgun ammunition.
• 18+ to purchase rifles, shotguns, and rifle/shotgun ammunition.
• A valid government-issued photo ID is required to complete any transfer.
• Purchasers may not be prohibited persons under 18 U.S.C. § 922(g).

Ammunition

• Age verification is required at purchase and may be required again upon delivery.
• Ships within the United States only. Some states and cities require a permit, license, or ID — or prohibit shipment entirely.
• We do not ship ammunition where it is restricted by state or local law.

Firearm, magazine, and ammunition laws vary by state and locality. It is your responsibility to know and comply with the laws where you live.

We do not ship products that are prohibited in your jurisdiction and reserve the right to cancel any order that would violate applicable law. If you are unsure whether an item can ship to you, contact us before ordering.
